Guidelines

Each team will be provided with an initial amount in Indian Rupees, and the opening trade prices of the currencies.

The game will consist of five rounds, each lasting 10 minutes, and a warning bell will be rung at 8 minutes.

All trades will take place with respect to Indian currency. No cross exchange of currencies shall be permitted.

News headlines, which will influence the currency rates, will be flashed at the beginning of each round. At the end of each round, new currency rates will be flashed. The worth of the participants will be calculated at these rates.

Calculation mistakes will lead to deduction of points. The figures written should be legible. Short selling will not be permitted.

The team with the maximum earnings at the end of the fifth round wins.

The school won’t provide any calculators. Students are advised to bring their own calculators. Students are not permitted to use their cell phones during the event.

Slots will be allocated according to first come first serve basis. Schools participating in Torero must register at least a day prior to the event.
